I'm not gonna waste time on an intro, lets get straight to the point
Don't open with "Hey, what's up?" or "How was your day?"
Guys, do you know how many of those she gets? Well, I'll tell you it's probably a lot. Opening with texts like these are boring and doesn't stand out. Another problem with these type of texts is that it barely creates a drive for a conversation. You could text her these questions and she could respond, but it will usually go like this.
You: "Hey, what's up?"
Her: "Nothing much, how about you?"
You: "Same"
Or
You: "Hey, how was your day?"
Her: "Good, how about you?"
You: "Good"
Unless, she or you are experienced enough to make something out of a text like this, this is usually how it goes.
Do be open with a text that gets her attention
A way you can do this is by sharing something that relates to her interests and then ask her an open-ended question.
For example, let's say a girl has photography as one of her interests in her bio. This is what you could open with.
You: I've always been interested in photography, but I've never had the money to buy a good camera. How'd you develop your passion for photography?
Doing this shows you've been paying attention which a girl always appreciates and are genuinely interested in getting to know the girl.
Another way you can do this is by being spontaneous. You do this by asking her any random question.
Examples
"When was the first time you broke the law?"
"What's your ideal date?"
"Would you rather live in the city or the woods? Why?"
Most guys aren't taking the opportunity to ask her spontaneous questions or show interest about her and are being predictable by asking her questions you gents should avoid asking. So, if you guys open with these type of lines you'd already be ahead of like 90% of guys.
Don't wait three days to text her after getting her number
Gents, please don't do this thinking you're playing hard to get. This may have work in the past where it wasn't as easy to communicate with someone without being in their presence, but this is the age of communication for goodness sake. People are on their phone all the time. She knows you're on your phone and she knows you're ignoring her and you're pretty much telling her you're not interested. And lets say she wasn't as invested. Three days is plenty of time for her to forget about you. You really think she's gonna remember a guy she met at the bar three days ago?
Do text her withing 15 min to 2 days
If you really like the girl, why wait? If you want to talk to her, just do it. But some of you may not want to come off as needy and I get that, so the maximum time you should wait to text her is two days. No more than that or she might forget about you. There isn't much to talk about on this one gents. If you want to text her, just text her. Don't do it too much though.
